Hey there! I'm Cathy and let me introduce myself!

I am a Cape Town based landscape architecture student and part time traveler. I was born and bred in Johannesburg, South Africa to Chinese and Taiwanese parents and lived there my whole life until I moved to Cape Town for studies.

 

My parents exposed me to a life of travel from a young age and I've since seen over 20 countries,  but only when I took my trip to Italy in 2015 was I then really bitten by the travel bug. Since then I've wanted to share my love of travel and adventure with the world.

I've always been intrigued in photography and had a passion for illustrating and now try to incorporate as much of that into my travels along with documenting my authentic experiences which I hope will inspire and help others on their own wandering adventures and expressing them in a creative way.

In 2017 I started my travel Instagram account where I share photos taken during my travels and over the passed year it has manifested into a need to share more in depth experiences and tips with everyone. This blog serves as the internet archive of all my recent adventures and I hope as a reader you find information of use in the planning of your own travels.
